Understanding Blood Group Antigens: Discover the role of Red Blood Cell (RBC) surface antigens and their diverse functions. Blood group systems are defined by genetics and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) maintains the official record of these systems, encompassing 45 systems and 362 antigens as of November 2023.
