Finding the right donors -The virtual congress ISBT2022

The virtual congress ISBT2022 was the 37th International Congress of the ISBT held between June 4-8, 2022.

The Finding the right donors session included the following presentations: 

1. Peter Flanagan: Ethical principles and guidance in blood procurement: The essentials for a viable national blood transfusion service
2. Nor Hafizah Ahmad: Rare Blood DOnor Programme in Malaysia
3. Jarkko Toivonen: The Value of genetic data from 665.460 individuals in predicting anemia and ability to donate blood
4. Jan Karregat: Iron status in Dutch and Finnish Blood Donor and General Populations
